We know that Pitbulls were already at baiting bulls and engaging in dog combat long before they came to America.
The dog fighting aspect carried from there to here and is still continuing. Even the present day Pitbulls have proved their fighting skills and excel in the art of Dog Fight. They have attributes for being agile, pulling up weight in excess of 2000 lbs, working with cattle, catching hogs or earning obedience, they proved themselves to be far greater than the fighting dogs.
The American Pitbull Terrier Today Even today parts of Japan and Pakistan have a league for arranging dog fights, Illegal events were being organized and authorities of both the countries checked with those organizers to stop announcing such events in future and curb them to make it into something big.

You not only have so many things wrong in this article but you have little knowledge of the English language. Your grammar is terrible as well as your spelling. As far as the breed of dogs is concerned you apparently have no idea what a pit bull is. I have had more than one pit in my family and they were all raised well, not as fighters. The dogs were never violent and lived full lives as family pets. It’s not the dog that is born violent, it’s the trainer who makes the dogs violent.

The pitbulls of old were used as babysitters and hunting in Europe where this breed is presumably thought to derive from. This guy knows nothing about pitbulls. I have had five in all throughout my life. Not one of my dogs ever tried to harm anyone and they are as smart as a wipe and quick to learn.
It is true about the Pit Bull Terrier working in orphanages in Europe during the early 1900′s. The reason they are used to fight today is not because they are violent but because of their loyalty to their masters. They will kill or die for their masters and it is a shame that people use this aspect of the breed for profit, not caring about the suffering animal. This guy should read about how the U.S. Military are using them as the soldier’s partner and how many lives they have saved. They are loyal to the end, dragging their master out through bullets and bombs, never leaving his/her side. I have met one retired “4 legged officer” decorated with medals, amazing animal. They are dogs and I feel safer walking by a well-raised Pit than well-raised Chiwawa’s, which are mean dogs in my opinion. They are violent if left unchecked. I love animals and hate the fact that this smart breed of dog have been mistreated for the profit of a cruel breed of human. I have two and the kids in the neighborhood love when we are outside. They come to play with my dogs and get licked to death by Grace and loved on by Zeek. Everyone wants a puppy when Grace comes into her second heat because they are magnificent animals with lots of love, not because they are Pits. They are beautiful, majestic and loving pets that I would love to let Pit-haters meet.
